ProInversión to award Yurimaguas port concession April 27 (Peru)

Peru's private investment promotion agency ProInversión is due to award the Yurimaguas fluvial port concession on April 27.

Technical and financial bids will be presented on April 25, with technical bids opened the same day, state news agency Andina reported.

The 30-year concession involves designing, building and operating the Yurimaguas-Nueva Reforma port terminal on the Huallaga river in Loreto region, some 20km downstream from the existing Yurimaguas terminal.

The project will require an estimated US$38.9mn investment.
