Paraguay's public works and communications ministry MOPC plans to launch a consultancy tender for a project to pave 93km of roads in districts Itapúa, Misiones and Cordillera.
The awardee will be expected to carry out technical, environmental and economic feasibility studies, and the final design of the project.
Prequalified firms have until April 11 to submit bids, MOPC said in a release.
The roads included in the project are the Yatytay-Colonia San Rafael-Yabebyry stretch in Itapúa, the Yabebyry-Santa Rita and Santa Rita-San Ignacio stretches in Misiones, and the Atyrá-Costa Fleitas-Caacupé stretch in Cordillera.
"These studies will give us more convenient alternatives to efficiently address the road problems in the areas included in the project," said public works minister Efraín Alegre.
