MOP tenders US$28mn bus stop concession for Metrobus (Panama)

Panama's public works ministry (MOP) has tendered the design, construction and maintenance of bus stops for Panama City's Metrobus public transport system.

 

MOP will receive and open offers for the concession on May 12, according to a tender document published on state procurement website PanamaCompra.

 

The project has a reference price of US$28mn and involves construction of 475 bus stops.

 

The winning firm will have 18 months to complete construction and will maintain and operate the bus stops for 15 years.
