ACI ranks Cancún airport Latin America's best for service (Mexico)
A comparative study carried out in 2010 by Airports Council International (ACI) has ranked Mexico's Cancún airport the best for service quality in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The airport, operated by concessionaire Asur (NYSE: ASR, BMV: ASUR), also ranked top overall airport in the region, according to an ACI release.

Following behind Cancún were Ecuador's Guayaquil airport, Costa Rica's Santa José airport, Montego Bay airport in Jamaica and Mexico City's Benito Juárez airport.

San José also received an award for the region's most improved airport, while Barbados' Grantley Adams airport was top in the region among those with fewer than 2mn passengers.

Seoul's Incheon international airport received the award for best airport worldwide for the fifth straight year.

ACI's Airport Service Quality (ASQ) passenger survey measures customer feedback on a range of service delivery parameters that track the customer experience at an airport from arrival to departure.
