MOP kicking off US$10mn paving work in David (Panama)

 Panama's public works ministry (MOP) has kicked off work on a paving program for David, capital of the Caribbean province Chiriquí, according to provincial MOP director Roberto Lezcano.

The projects, two in the capital and one in Bugaba district, will require a total investment of US$10mn, MOP reported on its website. 

Local firms Bagatrac and Ininco are carrying out the paving work in David, which will cost US$8mn. 

Another US$2mn has been allocated to repair various roads in the Bugaba district.
