CIFI, Madrid Network ink investment promotion deal (Regional)

Madrid Network announced it has signed an agreement with regional lender Corporación Interamericana para el Financiamiento de Infraestructuras (CIFI) to promote Spanish investment in Latin America and the Caribbean's infrastructure sector.

 

The Spanish investment promoter will help developers prepare and present projects to public and private entities in the region, while CIFI will provide economic and financial advisory services.

 

CIFI has some US$150mn available to finance infrastructure projects and is in talks with Spanish groups interested in investing in Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Panama, Madrid Network said in a statement.

 

The aim is to support companies such as FCC, Caja Madrid, ACS, Ferrovial, Indra, Prointec, Sener and Idom.
