Buenos Aires kicks off US$19mn San Martin roadworks (Argentina)

The governor of Argentina's Buenos Aires province, Daniel Scioli, has opened works to repave and expand the second stretch of provincial highway 8 in city San Martin.

 

The 10km stretch runs between General Paz avenue in San Martin and national highway 8 in Pilar, according to the provincial government website.

 

The works, which will cost more than 75mn pesos (US$18.9mn), are one of the most important projects of Argentina's bicentennial year, Scioli said.
