Pinfra buys Tlaxcala-San Martin Texmelucan concession for US$28.5mn (Mexico)
2010-11-23
Mexican construction firm Promotora y Operadora de Infraestructura (Pinfra) has purchased a concession for the Tlaxcala-San Martin Texmelucan highway from the federal government.

Pinfra paid 350mn pesos (US$28.5mn) for the 30-year concession, the firm said in a report to Mexico City's bourse BMV.

The four-lane highway runs 25.5km from the Tlaxcala state capital of the same name to neighboring Puebla state's San Martin Texmelucan city.

The highway handles some 5,800 vehicles each day and traffic has grown 3% annually over the past four years, the report said.
