2010-08-20
Argentina's national planning and investment ministry (Minplan) has launched an international tender to carry out construction and paving work on Entre Rios provincial highway Ruta 23.

The project has an official budget of 109mn pesos (US$26.6mn) and will be financed by an IDB loan, according to project documents on the bank's website.

Work on the 32.7km highway stretch includes paving, construction of three railroad crossings and public transport shelters as well as signage and lighting. The project is expected to take 24 months to complete.

Interested firms have until September 23 to request clarifications. Proposals must be submitted by October 8 and will be opened the same day.
